Fungi Test Prints

When trying out drypoint intaglio again for the first time in five years, I decided to do small test prints to warm up in studio. As mushrooms are a subject matter that I enjoy drawing, I opted to test out drypoint on the polycarbonate with fungi friends. The plastic surface is different from the traditional copper, but still took marks and had a range. It cannot be burnished out like copper, so once the marks are there, they’re there.
