Palestine in Nature
2024
The ancestral roots of the Palestinian people run deep and their collective care for each other is strong, much like a old growth forest. This came to mind as I went to a woodland area in the Burren with a friend in February 2024, there was not much foliage, as it was winter, but the moss and lichen were alive and thriving. Below are photos from that time with text I wrote to encourage solidarity, mutual aid, love, and endurance. This format is inspired by a dear friend of mine, Aster Reem David, who took to making nature photo and type images around liberation movements that they care for.
